Jill Schettler-Susskind (left, Owner/Teacher) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies/Mass Communications (UC Berkeley) and a Masters degree in Health Psychology Education (Stanford) as well as nutrition counseling and wellness coach training. She worked for 18 years in the public health field including Health Manager for Head Start. She is CPR/First Aid certified, has completed 32 units of Early Childhood Education at Cabrillo College (including student teaching at the Cabrillo Children’s Center preschool), is trained in positive discipline and has worked with preschool children in public centers and home-based programs (including Little School with Lisa Kolbeck) since 2010. Nature, dance, art and her family, including her 18 year-old son and 13 year-old daughter, inspire her each day.

Adel Bertich (right, Co-Teacher) is a parent, nanny, and educator who brings a multitude of experiences (including growing up in Budapest, Hungary) to her work with young children. She has an 18 year-old daughter and loves dancing, nature, craft projects of all kinds, and has 20 units in Early Childhood Education, is CPR/First Aid certified and has training in positive discipline.
